Description: Participation in the Round Robin by Wa Shonaji Quilt Guild in 2020-21, resulted in “It Ain’t What It Used to Be!” The ladies in my group were Netta Toll, Julie Marsh, Brenda Ames, and Marcia Walker. The idea was to not just put a border around the piece, but to think outside of the box when doing so. My center piece is one that I hand-dyed in a class I took from Betty Busby. I learned different techniques in dyeing and a lot more about the dyes themselves and used stencils, oil stick paint and the good old sun.
