Meetings and Calendar

We meet the first Saturday of the month at 10:30 a.m., except when the first Saturday falls on a holiday weekend, and then we meet on the second Saturday. (Example: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day). Our meetings are warm and friendly and include a brief business meeting, show and share, and a workshop or lecture.

Monthly Schedule and Workshops:

  • August 1 to September 28, 2017 Annual exhibit at the Blair Caldwell Library,  3rd Floor , This Year’s Show is “I Did it My Way” 

  • Meeting – No August Meeting, see you at the Exhibit Reception

  • Opening Reception – August 12, 2017 Annual Exhibit at the Blair Caldwell Library, 3rd Floor.  Noon to 4:00 p.m.  This year’s exhibit “I Did it My Way” 

  • Meeting – September 9, 2017 – Part 1 of a 2 part class, Bargello Quilting with Marsha Walker / BOM Tulips and Whirlwind,  Note: This month’s meeting will be on the 2nd Floor of the Library

  • Meeting – October 7, 2017 – Part 2 of a 2 part class, Bargello Quilting with Marsha Walker / BOM King’s Crown

  • November 2-5, 2017 – Fall Retreat at Highlands Presbyterian Camp and Retreat Center, Allenspark, Colorado ,  See member area for registration form and details

  • Meeting – November 18, 2017- Workshop TBA / BOM Oak Leaves/Election of Officers,  Note: This meeting date is the third Saturday of the month, the meeting will be on the 2nd Floor of the Library

  • December 9, 2017 – Annual Christmas Luncheon,  Bring your Block Exchange Quilt to Display

  • Meeting – January 6, 2018 – Water Soluble Fabric using water soluble stabilizer, snippets of thread, fabric, yarn by Camilla Edwards / BOM New York Beauty

  • Meeting – February 3, 2018 – Black History Month program and Guild 24th Anniversary Celebration/  Don’t forget to get your BOM quilted

  • Meeting – March 3, 2018 – Curved Seams, instructor to be announced / BOM Show and Share Finished Quilt

  • Meeting – April 7, 2018 – Broderie Perse, Make a vase of fabric flowers, with Mary Lassiter
