Meetings and Calendar

We meet the first Saturday of the month 10:30 a.m., except when the first Saturday falls on a holiday weekend, and then we meet on the second Saturday. (Example: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day). Our meetings are warm and friendly and include a brief business meeting, show and share, and a workshop or lecture.  Workshops and lectures last until 4:00 pm unless otherwise noted.

2019  25th Anniversary Year:  Wa Shonaji 25 Years of Embracing the Past and Envisioning the Future

Monthly Schedule and Workshops:

  • Meeting – January 5, 2019 –  Resizing Blocks to Fit Your Design led by Linda White, Third UFO Due,  There will be an open sew until 4 after the class.

  • Meeting – February 2, 2019 at United Church of Montebello at 4879 Crown Blvd., Denver, CO 80239 – 25th Anniversary: Black History Program to include a Formal Tea.

  • Meeting – March 3, 2019 – Round Robin led by Artie Johnson. Camilla will present an “HST Explosion which is a simple tutorial that can be helpful in a pinch or for quick gifts, especially for babies and comfort quilts”.

  • Meeting – April 6, 2019 – Sew-In, four hours to sew on anything your heart may desire to sew.

  • Meeting – May 4, 2019 – Hanging Sleeve led by Linda White and a short tutorial led by a Guild member, to be determined.

  • Meeting – June 8, 2019 – Class to be determined led by Karen Blackmon.  (Karen has some exciting ideas up her sleeve for this class.)
